Since 1965 Merla has been involved with purebred dogs. Afghans, Akitas, Am Staffs and always Borzoi under the Taugo Perm Reg’d prefix. Professionally she has been in the printing industry forever and currently owns Xciting Ideas Ltd., a promotion and marketing company. She is the current President of Borzoi Canada and a life member of the Alberta Sporting Hound Association. |

Karen has been involved in various breeds over the years but her heart now belongs to the Coton de Tulear. The thrill ride of a lifetime was campaigning her boy Teddy to #1 Coton in the US for 2005. Karen currently serves as President of the Canadian Coton de Tulear Club and 2nd Vice President of the Canine Federation of Canada. With a specialist degree in English, Karen enjoys the balance that writing, editing and literature provides. |

Although Tina grew up with Bulldogs, the Shiba Inu has captivated her heart since 2003. She serves as Vice President for the Alberta Kennel Club as well as the Shiba Inu Club of Canada and enjoys working with Junior Handlers. She is also a member of the Calgary Kennel and Obedience Cub. Tina enjoys being a member of the CR team and, as Karen Black indicates, is “always available.” |

Helen has been involved with the Borzoi breed since 1969 and has bred many top Borzoi in Canada. After selling CR to Merla she stayed on as webmaster. She is also a provisional judge in the US for Borzoi and a life member of the CKC, Borzoi Canada, BCOA and Kamloops & District Kennel Club |

Hilary has been breeding English Setters under the Sevenoaks prefix for over 20 years. She married Les Oakes and co-bred Gordon Setters with him and Jim Stomp under the Clansman prefix since 1998. Hilary was born and educated in the UK with a degree in business management. |

Ad Design |
Wendy is owned by two Chows, four Afghans and a Toy Poodle. Both Chows have been top in their breed and are involved in therapy work, as well as being multi BISS winners. In her 20 years of design, Wendy has gone from dye sublimation, ad design, photo corrections and paintings, to sculpting and laser design for Greyhound Combs. From Yamaha and Bombardier, to hundreds of club, national and specialty designs, she thoroughly enjoys designing and uses her self-taught talent to make ads POP! |
